Our Shoe Screen uses a three-pronged approach to help
you determine the type of running shoe that is appropriate
for you.
Video
Analysis
- Using our state-of-the-art computerized video
analysis software, we will watch you run both
in your current running shoes and without any shoes.
Your running style is one of the primary determinants
of the type of shoe appropriate for your feet.

Foot
Posture
- What do your feet look like when standing, walking
and running? Are your feet overpronated or do you
have high arches? We will look at your feet (and knees
and hips) to note any areas of weakness and any areas
that may require extra support or cushion.

Shoe
Wear Patterns
- During the screen, we will have you bring in a pair
of your running shoes (both an older and more recent
pair) to further see what you do when running. Surprisingly,
this tells us quite a detailed story as to what your
feet (and other parts of your legs) do when running.
Using the wear patterns on your shoes will help us
determine what shoes are most appropriate for you.
